Mitsubishi is the latest automaker to abandon the passenger-car market entirely and focus all its efforts on SUVs. Alas, in 2025, we say goodbye to the Mirage, which came in hatchback and G4 sedan varieties. What remains of the Mitsubishi lineup—four crossover SUV models—sees varying degrees of changes, though most are minor for 2025. The most significant changes are to the Outlander midsize SUV, which gets a minor refresh inside and out.

Changes to the individual 2025 Mitsubishi model lines are listed below alphabetically.
After receiving minor changes for the 2024 model year, Mitsubishi’s uniquely styled Eclipse Cross compact crossover SUV carries over almost entirely unchanged for 2025. All 2025 Eclipse Cross trim levels get a new rear-seat reminder system, and the SE’s optional Black Edition package gains front lip and rear spoilers. On the technology front, LE and higher trims get enhanced connected services, now including a five-year Safeguard trial and 12 months of Remote Services.
Mitsubishi has announced a mid-cycle refresh for the forthcoming 2025 Outlander, but details won’t be available until the first quarter of 2025. However, the automaker says the refreshed Outlander three-row SUV will have revised front and rear styling and an upgraded, more luxurious interior.
Sharing its vehicle architecture with the conventionally powered Outlander, the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) carries over for 2025 with only minor changes. All trims get standard front heated seats, while the range-topping SEL trim gains a panoramic sunroof and a heated steering wheel. Like the Eclipse Cross, the Outlander PHEV’s connected services offering adds one year of Remote Services and five years of Safeguard protection.
A standard rear-seat reminder system is the only noteworthy addition to the 2025 Outlander Sport. Otherwise, the small SUV carries over with no changes.
