Stellantis is expanding its all-electric muscle car lineup by introducing the four-door 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona sedan, joining the existing Charger Daytona coupe in Dodge’s performance-oriented product portfolio.

The new four-door Charger Daytona electric vehicle (EV) retains the coupe’s styling, inspired by the 1968 Dodge Charger muscle car. Dodge says it integrated the four-door body style into the new Charger Daytona’s design. Indeed, the two- and four-door Charger Daytonas share a common roofline, liftgate, and front and rear fascias. They also share the same widebody styling—the widest in the industry, according to Dodge. Like the coupe, the new sedan offers what Dodge claims is class-leading passenger and rear cargo volume.
Besides the two extra doors, nearly everything about the 2026 Charger Daytona sedan is the same as the coupe; they share the same powertrains, equipment, and options. Beginning in 2026, the Charger Daytona will be available in Scat Pack and Scat Pack Plus versions, each offering 630 standard horsepower with an additional 40-hp boost available for 10 seconds via the “PowerShot” function.
Additionally, Dodge is introducing two new painted hood options in 2026 for the Scat Pack version: hand-painted gloss black and matte-black “Fratzog” dual stripes with red trim accents. Also, buyers of both body styles can get the Track package as a stand-alone option, providing upgraded brakes, larger wheels and tires, a gloss-black rear spoiler, and adaptive damping suspension, among other items.
Buyers can now order two- and four-door versions of the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona. Dodge says the cars will begin arriving at U.S. dealers in the second half of 2025. The automaker also says it will launch the gas-powered (SixPack) versions of the new Charger at the same time.

Dodge claims it sells the “world’s only four-door muscle car.” In a sense, that is true. No other competitor combines traditional muscle-car styling with the practicality of four doors. While some may consider the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E a rival, it’s more of an SUV than a car. Going a little up-market, you could argue the Charger Daytona competes with other non-SUV sporty EVs, such as the Tesla Model 3 and Model S, and even the BMW i4 and i5. But to most observers, the Charger Daytona is in a class of its own.
While I think the sedan will widen the Charger Daytona’s appeal, particularly for those who frequently transport kids in the back seat, the new-generation Charger likely won’t hit its full stride until the gas-powered versions become available later this year. Perhaps Dodge will bring back the Hemi V8 in a few years to boost sales.
