2011 Lexus Ratings, Reviews and Awards
Lexus’ 2011 vehicles are the standard when it comes to city-appeal and family functionality. The Lexus HS 250h now gets 34 mpg of highway fuel economy, much like the similarly updated ES350. The ES350 has a six-speed shiftable automatic transmission, FWD, a six-cylinder engine, and 27 highway mpg which provides the car with an effective yet high-performance feeling that is perfect for getting around the city. The RX 350 AWD also offers a six-speed shiftable automatic transmission in Lexus’ SUV lineup, but includes AWD and an understated front trim which is aerodynamic and low-profile. The RX 350 AWD features slightly more pronounced dimples on the front of the hood to focus airflow around the car during highway travel, allowing it to have 24 highway mpg in a palpable improvement over its predecessors. With the RX 350 AWD’s 3.5L V6 DOHC Dual VVT-i 24V engine, the performance power of the vehicle is difficult to overstate no matter which fuel economy mode it is used in.
