This week, Bugatti announced that the final Centodieci supercar had been delivered. The final unit of 10 hand-built vehicles, this unique Centodieci features a Quartz White exterior contrasted by a Black Carbon finish across the lower body with matte black grilles. The Light Blue Sport brake calipers match the finishing color for the logo on the Black Carbon rear wing, establishing a link to the EB110 and reimagining the iconic shade of Bugatti Blue from when the car was first introduced.
“The Centodieci brings together all of the components of the Bugatti brand into one extraordinary package: rarity, innovation, heritage, craftsmanship, and incomparable performance,” says Christophe Piochon, President of Bugatti Automobiles, “The entire limited production run of ten was so sought after by our customers that it was sold out before the Centodieci had even been officially revealed. Now, we’re delighted to see that the final example has been delivered to its new owner following the intensive development, testing, and bespoke creation process necessary to create a product as significant and rare as Centodieci.”
Maintaining the allure of Bugatti’s original supercar of the 1990s, the Centodieci is a high-performance coup de maî·tre. Boasting the iconic Bugatti 8.0-liter W16 engine, the Centodieci accelerates from 0 to 60 in just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed of 236 mph.
Bugatti’s engineering and design teams reimagined the silhouette of the EB110 by constructing a completely new profile and a new frontal design inspired by the EB110’s horseshoe grille. The interior of the tenth Centodieci is highlighted by its Light Blue Sport leather finish, with seats, door panels, center console, roof liner, and floor mats crafted in a symmetrical quadrate-like pattern.
“This car was conceived to honor a model that we see as spiritually marking the beginning of a trilogy: the EB110 established the formula for the Veyron and the Chiron,” Piochon stated. “Although separated by decades, these cars are timeless in their appeal and united in their dedication to shifting expectations of performance and ability. We now close this chapter of our coachbuilding era, starting with the Divo in 2018, but the legend of the EB110 and Centodieci will forever remain a part of Bugatti history.”
With all ten hand-built Centodiecis now completed and delivered, Bugatti will shift its focus to assembling the remaining Chiron models. Currently, less than 100 units remain of the total 500 set for production. The French automaker will follow up with the limited run of 99 W16 Mistral examples and 40 track-only Bolide units, where every build slot of both cars is already fully accounted for.
