Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S is a French Luxury automobile manufacturer and a luxury brand for hyper sports cars. The company was founded in 1998 as a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group.

The brand established itself much later, but the invention of the first Bugatti dates back to 1909. The Italian manufacturer Ettore Bugatti launched the original Bugatti automobile brand in Molsheim and built sports, racing, and luxury cars which were small, light, and easy to handle.
Overall, Bugatti produced well-built vehicles since the company’s inception, and multiple models deserve your attention. That’s what we’ll be covering in this article.
With only 1 unit manufactured, the La Voiture Noire is a one-of-a-kind custom car that is a callback to Bugatti’s heritage and the company’s coachbuilding era. It is powered by an 8.0 Liter W16 Engine capable of 1479 horsepower and 1180 lb-ft of torque and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds before reaching its highest speed of 240 mph.
Centodieci looks alien-like thanks to the mix of peculiar design and innovative style. This model is a hypercar capable of 1577 hp with a maximum speed of 236 mph. Only a limited number of these rides, just ten units, have been produced as a tribute to the Bugatti EB110 Supercar. But, despite this, the Cintodieci has already sold out.
It's Bugatti’s first coachbuilt hyper sports car of the 21st century and one of the finest Bugatti racing cars ever produced.
It is lightweight and has exceptional performance due to its 1479 horsepower engine and 1180 pound-feet of torque. It outperforms the Chiron on the race field despite not having the fastest top speed among racing cars.
The most well-known card produced by Bugatti, the Gran Turismo, is powered by a W-16 engine capable of 1500 horsepower and 1100 lb-ft of torque, with max speeds reaching 248 mph. Only a single model has been produced and sold with a price tag of $ 5.1 million attached.
With a 16-cylinder engine, 1500 horses, 0-60 acceleration of 2.4 seconds, and a top speed of 273 mph, the Chiron has what it takes to match its extravagant price tag.
The Chiron nameplate hit the automotive world in 2016 and is known to be the most beautiful two-seater mid-engine luxury race car ever built. Bugatti mentioned that only 500 units would be produced, and as of October 2022, they announced that only 40 new Chirons exist.
Bugatti created the Type 41 Royale in the 1920S. It was arguably the most luxurious car then, with only six units produced in total.
With a price tag of $43 million, it is the most expensive and extreme Bugatti manufactured to date, boasting of being the strongest and largest Buggati. It is powered by an aircraft-inspired 12.7-liter straight-eight engine that can easily pull off 300 horsepower.
The Bugatti Type 59 was built in 1934 and was the model through which Bugatti revived its grand Prix cars meant for racing. It has an 8-cylinder, 3.3-liter engine with a four-speed manual transmission that produces 250 horsepower. Due to its low durability and costly repairs associated in case of breakages, there were only a few models sold for a price close to $13 million.
It was the most popular model and a frontrunner in cementing the status of Bugatti as one of the world's most fantastic racing and sports car manufacturers.
Bugatti built the Type 29 in 1922 to compete at the French Grand Prix and the brand’s first race car to have an inline-8 engine. It was mated to a 4-Speed manual gearbox and produced about 60 horsepower.
One of the most sought-after and recognizable Bugatti vehicles in the world, it was a car that outperformed all of Bugatti's racing versions back in 1924. Its unusual design featuring an arch-based radiator made it the first ride to have a three-valve 2.0L overhead cam straight-six engine.
It also boasted having a crankshaft engine with a unique ball bearing system that increased the car's power by enabling the engine to rev up to 6,000 rpm and produce 90 horsepower. Bugatti made less than 100 units of Type 35.
Being one of the most recognizable manufacturers in the automotive industry, Bugatti produced a wide selection of excellent automobiles. As you can see, all of them are highly pricy, but there’s a reason for such a sizeable price tag. So, if you want to get your hands on one, prepare for the purchase to punch a significant hole in your wallet.
