Five trim types give consumers choices with the 2017 Honda Pilot, but all include a V6 engine that delivers 280 horsepower. Torque output stays steady across all trims as well, with 262 lb-ft at 4,700 rpm. A Drive-by-Wire Throttle System, Eco Assist System, Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), Active Control Engine Mount System (ACM), and Direct Ignition System with Immobilizer are all standard across the trim packages. Intelligent Variable Torque Management AWD System and Remote Engine Start are also available on most trims. Overall, the Pilot earns an EPA estimated 18 to 27 mpg from city to highway.
