For 2024, Ram keeps changes to its burly truck and van lineup to a minimum. The half-ton Ram 1500 receives a couple of new option packages, and both it and the 2500/3500 Heavy Duty pickup benefit from a new dashboard warning light to apprise you of an open tailgate. Ram will soon undergo a shift in its lineup with an all-electric ProMaster cargo van and an all-electric Ram 1500 that will debut for the 2025 model year. Listed below are the notable changes to the 2024 Ram truck model lineup.

Ram introduced its current-generation 1500 pickup in 2019. The full-size pickup continues into 2024 with only minor changes, including a new warning lamp to inform the driver that the tailgate is ajar. Also, the Tradesman Warlock option package is again available, featuring enhanced off-road capabilities thanks to the one-inch increase in ride height, electronic rear-locking differential, skid plates, and specially tuned shock absorbers.
To commemorate the final year of its supercharged V8 engine option, Ram is offering a new TRX Supercharged V8 Final Edition that incorporates three new colors—Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise—along with distinctive badging and decals. Inside, you’ll find unique trim pieces, badging, and a flat-bottom steering wheel with carbon fiber trim.
Ram will introduce the all-electric 1500 REV for the 2025 model year.
The only change for Ram’s heavy-duty pickup trucks is a newly standard Tailgate Ajar warning lamp in the standard features list. Otherwise, the burly trucks continue into 2024 with your choice of regular or crew cab, regular or extended bed, two widths, and seven trim levels.
One of three engines motivates the big Ram pickup: a 370-horsepower 6.7-liter inline 6-cylinder turbodiesel, a high-output version generating 420 hp, or a 410-hp 6.4-liter V8.
To help you ease into those cold early morning delivery runs, Ram now includes a heated windshield and steering wheel as standard equipment on all 2024 ProMaster cargo vans. You can also equip your van with the newly available parking-assistance feature. Otherwise, the utility van, powered by a 276-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine, continues with your choice of varying roof heights, wheelbase lengths, and 1500/2500/3500 models, with correspondingly increasing payload ratings.
Ram says it will introduce an electric ProMaster for the 2024 model year. However, the automaker hasn’t released official details at the time of this writing.
