For Mini, the 2024 model year is the calm before the storm. Indeed, Mini has six all-new model variants arriving in calendar year 2024, all as 2025 model-year vehicles. The most anticipated is the all-new, battery-electric Mini Countryman crossover SUV.

The biggest news for the 2024 model year is the addition of manual transmission options for four models, bringing the total number of stick-shift Minis to seven. Mini continues to produce its Untamed, Untold, and Resolute special-edition models through the 2024 model year. The brand is bringing back the base Classic trim to all Hardtop, Clubman, and Countryman models. Also, for 2024, the Signature trim features navigation with real-time traffic information as standard equipment.
Apart from the above-mentioned return of the base Classic trim, the Mini Hardtop 2-Door and Mini Hardtop 4-Door have minimal changes for the 2024 model year. The new Classic trim Hardtops are available in Chili Red, Nanuq White, and Midnight Black II. The Mini Cooper 4-Door Hardtop and Mini Cooper S 4-Door Hardtop add manual transmission availability.
Like the Hardtop 2-Door and 4-Door, the Mini Cooper Convertible adds a manual transmission option for 2024. Unlike the Hardtops, it does not offer a Classic trim or an Iconic trim in its Cooper variant.
The battery-electric Mini Cooper SE gets interior changes for 2024. The Signature trim now offers the Upholstery package upgrade, bringing it in line with the rest of the Mini Hardtop 2-Door lineup. The biggest news is the 2024 model year will be the last for the current Cooper SE. Production will cease at the end of January 2024
The only change for Mini Clubman models for 2024 is the addition of the Classic trim. The Classic trim variants offer the choice of Chili Red, Nanuq White, or Midnight Black II exterior paint.
The 2024 Mini Countryman small crossover SUV adds the base Classic trim, making it available in Chili Red, Nanuq White, and Midnight Black II. The Mini Cooper SE All4 plug-in hybrid adds a lower-priced Signature trim 2.0. The model's Iconic trim 2.0 adds a power-operated liftgate, parking assistant, and adaptive cruise control. The Cooper Countryman will only be available in Classic trim.
