Ram Truck has announced changes for the 2021 model year, and the headliner is the introduction of the completely new 702-horsepower Ram 1500 TRX super truck. The Ram 1500 pickup and other models in the lineup receive functional and equipment changes.

The Ram 1500 full-size pickup is offered in a new trim — Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition — and a Limited Night Edition brings a monochromatic look with black 20-inch wheels, a black grille, and black badges. New options include a full-color head-up display, digital rear camera mirror, and trailer reverse steering control, while power-folding trailer mirrors are now available as a standalone option or with the surround view camera system. A new Snow Plow Prep option includes a 220-amp alternator, truck-side plow wiring harness, and a rear power-sliding window with a defroster.
The Ram 1500 Classic, essentially the previous generation of the current Ram 1500, continues to live on for the 2021 model year. The 2021 lineup consists of Tradesman, Express, and Warlock trims. A 5-inch touchscreen radio replaces the 3-inch radio as standard equipment on Tradesman and Express, and those versions also get a new standard overhead console. A new black interior theme is now optional on Tradesman and Express and standard on Warlock. The Warlock also receives new 20-inch black aluminum wheels. A new Off-road Package for the Tradesman installs a lifted suspension, anti-spin rear differential, skid plates, tow hooks, all-terrain tires, and revised axle ratios for both V-8- and V-6-equipped models.
The all-new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX was engineered to be the quickest, fastest, and most powerful mass-produced truck on the planet. It features a 702-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine and a high-strength chassis and suspension designed to hold up to the rigors of high-speed off-roading. Wheel travel is increased by 40% versus the standard Ram 1500, and the five-link coil suspension is tuned to deliver the best combination of ride, handling, and comfort regardless of road surface or terrain. Inside, the TRX offers a plush cockpit and an easy-to-use infotainment system.
A new Limited Night Edition is the big change on the Ram heavy-duty pickup. Similar to the Ram 1500, it includes black 20-inch wheels, a black grille, and black badges in combination with a variety of body colors.
The Class 2 full-size Ram ProMaster van adds standard Crosswind Assist to help the driver stay on course while driving in breezy conditions. New safety options include blind-spot warning with rear cross-path warning and forward collision warning with emergency brake assist. A digital rear camera mirror is available to replace the traditional rearview mirror.
Fog lamps are now available on ProMaster City Tradesman and Wagon models and aluminum wheels are now available with Tradesman trim. The ProMaster City is a Class 1 compact van that offers up to 2,000 pounds of towing capacity.
