New for 2019:Chevrolet Trucks, SUVs, and Vans

Chevrolet has two big news stories for 2019. The first is the debut of a completely redesigned 2019 Silverado half-ton pickup truck. The second is a return of the Chevy Blazer to the automaker’s showrooms. The company also starts the rollout of next-generation Chevrolet Infotainment 3 systems for the 2019 model year, adding the technology to the Blazer, Equinox, and Silverado 1500.

2019 Chevrolet Blazer

  • Chevrolet revives the Blazer nameplate for a midsize, 5-passenger crossover SUV
  • Shares a platform and powertrains with the GMC Acadia
  • Standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine; available 3.6-liter V-6 engine
  • Standard front-wheel drive; available all-wheel drive
  • Standard 9-speed automatic transmission
  • Tows up to 4,500 lbs.

2019 Chevrolet Colorado

  • Next-generation Chevrolet Infotainment 3 technology
  • New ZR2 Bison variant for extreme off-roading, developed in partnership with American Expedition Vehicles
  • New exterior paint colors: Pacific Blue, Crush, and Shadow Gray

2019 Chevrolet Equinox

  • Next-generation Chevrolet Infotainment 3 technology
  • Up to 6 USB ports, an SD card reader, and an auxiliary input jack
  • Reversing camera and available 360-degree surround-view camera upgraded to high-definition systems
  • New LS Convenience and LT Appearance option packages
  • New Lights and Bright package for LT trim includes 19-in. wheels with a machined finish, LED headlights and taillights, chrome grille trim
  • Front pedestrian braking and adaptive cruise control optional with Premier trim
  • New exterior paint colors: Kinetic Blue and Pacific Blue

2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

  • Completely redesigned full-size pickup truck
  • Six different engine choices, including new turbocharged 4-cylinder and turbodiesel 6-cylinder power plants
  • Available 10-speed automatic transmission
  • Eight different trim levels, including new off-road-ready Trail Boss versions of Custom and LT variants
  • Chevrolet claims the Silverado’s ‘Durabed’ offers the largest cargo box volume, first power-operated tailgate of any competitor
  • Next-generation towing technologies are available

2019 Chevrolet Silverado HD

  • Maximum towing capacity falls 200 lbs. to 23,100 lbs.
  • New Tribute special edition for LTZ trim, complete with large flag graphic decals on each side of the truck
  • New exterior paint color: Mosaic Black

2019 Chevrolet Suburban

  • New RST Performance package with 6.2-liter V-8 engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and an adaptive damping suspension
  • New Premier Plus special edition pairs the 6.2-liter V-8, 10-speed automatic, and adaptive suspension with luxury upgrades including 2-tone leather, 22-in. polished aluminum wheels, a 12-month 4G LTE Wi-Fi data plan, and more
  • New exterior paint colors: Shadow Gray and Deepwood Green

2019 Chevrolet Tahoe

  • A new Tahoe Premier Plus special edition adds a 6.2-liter V-8 engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, adaptive damping suspension, 2-tone leather, heated and ventilated front seats, head-up display, a 12-month 4G LTE Wi-Fi data plan, and more to the top version of the Tahoe
  • New exterior paint colors: Shadow Gray and Deepwood Green

2019 Chevrolet Traverse

  • New LT Premium package adds 20-in. aluminum wheels, navigation, premium sound system, rear camera mirror, and a surround-view camera system to the LT with leather seats
  • Traverse RS now includes content of LT Premium package as standard equipment
  • RS trim now offered with V-6 engine and all-wheel drive
  • Premier and High Country trims gain a standard automatic heated steering wheel
  • New exterior paint colors: Havana Brown
