Buick has given its 2022 Enclave midsize SUV a facelift and added features in a bid to make one of its mainstay models even more competitive in the premium crossover segment.
Freshened exterior styling gives the 2022 Enclave a sleeker and more sophisticated appearance. Buick redesigns the front bumper, grille, and headlights, and the Enclave gets an entirely new selection of aluminum wheel choices. The Enclave Sport Touring trim gets a different grille and unique 20-inch alloy wheels.
Around the back, the Enclave features an all-new bumper and a chrome crossbar treatment as well. Buick also adds a new rear pedestrian warning system to the 2022 Enclave.
Inside, the 2022 Buick Enclave features a redesigned center console containing a new pushbutton electronic gear selector for the automatic transmission. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard equipment, and to supplement the Enclave's in-dash instrumentation, a color head-up display is now available.
On the active safety front, Buick makes the Enclave's Driver Confidence Plus Package standard equipment.

The 2022 Enclave's 3.6-liter V6 engine carries over from the previous version of the SUV, delivering 310 horsepower. It drives either the front wheels or all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Buick offers the 2022 Enclave Avenir trim as the most luxurious member of the Enclave family.
To separate it from other Enclaves, the 2022 Avenir gets distinctive front and rear styling details and unique wheels. The taillights and liftgate emblem are also unique to the Avenir. Heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats remain standard for this upscale version of the Enclave, and the Avenir trim also gets exclusive seat "sew patterns," unique trim panels, and upholstery piping.
All 2022 Avenirs have standard adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking that works at higher vehicle speeds. These were options in the past. Buick continues to offer an available adaptive damping suspension exclusively for the Avenir trim.
Buick has yet to announce 2022 Buick Enclave prices. The model will arrive in showrooms later this year.
