The 2018 lineup of Nissan continues their legacy of green-friendly vehicles that do not fail to perform. The Nissan Versa Sedan’s new engine provides 39 mpg of highway fuel economy while boasting 109 hp courtesy of its 1.6L 4-cylinder engine. The Versa also has Xtronic CVT transmission and some important aerodynamic updates to reduce the vehicle’s sound profile and air resistance. The Nissan Versa Note Hatchback has a similar set of improvements, now featuring a 109 hp 1.6L 4-cylinder engine, keyless ignition, and a smoother liftgate opening. Nissan’s Leaf electric vehicle has been granted an improved range, clocking in at 151 miles from charge to charge, and an improved engine, with 147 hp. The Leaf’s range is 40% larger than prior years, and its new 240V home charging station makes recharging quick and easy. The Leaf’s engine has also been made even quieter, and its roof has been streamlined for added comfort and aerodynamics.
