2017 Kia Sportage ratings and reviews
Kia’s popular Sportage arrived on scene for 2017 as stylish as ever with three trim levels, each of which can be configured for FWD or AWD, a roomy interior, and plenty of cargo space. The base LX includes 17-inch wheels, hill-start assist, traction and stability control, and a 6-speaker audio system, while the mid-tier EX adds 18-inch wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen display. The upper-level SX Turbo boasts a built-in navigation system, Harmon/Kardon audio, a panoramic sunroof, sport-tuned suspension, and an 8-inch touchscreen display. LX and EX both include a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, but the 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder on the SX Turbo gives drivers an impressive amount of power without lowering the fuel rating significantly. Kia’s packages for each trim help owners fine-tune their Sportage with things like an 8-way power driver’s seat, roof rails, heated seats, blind spot monitoring, and a smart power tailgate.
