McLaren is an established luxury sports vehicle brand known for creating stunning, high-performance supercars. First launched in 2010 to replace 1985 McLaren rides, these vehicles made waves in the industry, quickly garnering quite a fanbase.
Multiple cars have come out under the McLaren brand name, and they all have different prices. Seeing as you may want to get one, we’ve created an extensive list of models for you to look at.
The McLaren 570S ranges in price from $395,000 to $435,750 and comes in convertible and coupe variants. As the entry-level McLaren, it created waves in the industry by being a brilliant performer. Having a 0-60 sprint of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph, it offers a genuine sports car experience in a simple everyday package.
The Mclaren 600LT also comes in coupe and convertible body styles, with the base model, the 600LT Coupe, starting at $455,000 and the top trim level, the 600LT Spider, starting at $496,000. It uses a variant of the 570S McLaren’s twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 that produces 592 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. It makes its 0-60 run in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 204 mph.
Equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 that produces 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque, the 720S is monumentally fast, with excellent steering and a perfect high-speed balance. The top speed is 212 mph, and the 0-60 sprint is in the 2.9 seconds mark. The 750S costs $305,000 for the coupe and $318,000 for the spider.
MSO Carbon Series LT was developed with a focus on lightweight and optimized aerodynamic performance and was based on the McLaren 675LT Spider. As a result, it features 40 percent more carbon than the 675LT Spider, having the whole car body made from gloss carbon fiber. The MSO Carbon Series LT is also a limited edition car, and only 25 models were made. All 25 units have been sold, each costing around $515,000.
The McLaren Senna boasts an engine that pulls off 789 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, helping it sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and 124mph in 6.8 seconds. Being so powerful yet super lightweight, all 500 units have been sold out, with each going for $1 million.
The Elva is completely roofless and initially did not feature a windshield, but McLaren now provides it as an option. It has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 804 horsepower and 590-lb-ft of torque and completes a 0-60 sprint in 2.6 seconds and 0-124 mph in 6.7 seconds; top speed is 203 mph. McLaren Plans to build only 149 units of the Elva.
As a successor to the F1, the Speedtail stays true to the 3-seater layout and is McLaren’s most aerodynamic and fastest road car. It has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine with a parallel hybrid system. It completes the 0-60 and 0-124 mph runs in 2.9 and 6.6 seconds, respectively, and speeds up to a maximum of 250 mph. Total power output is 1,035 horsepower and 848 lb-ft of torque. McLaren built only 106 units which have all sold.
The P1 was produced between 2013 and 2015, featuring only 375 units, with each costing $1.3 million. Currently, though, the available units listed for sale cost over $2 million. The Power comes mainly from its twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine, which has been tweaked to provide 903 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. It sprints from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 217 mph.
McLaren built only 106 units of the F1 from 1992 to 1998. At the time, the original cost of each unit was between $800,000 and $1 million. In 2021 however, Gooding & Co. auctioned off a McLaren F1 for $20.5 million, making it the most expensive car auctioned that year.
The F1 had an engine bay lined with pure gold to reflect the heat generated by its naturally aspirated 6.1-liter V12 engine that produced over 620bhp. It had a speed of 240 mph and ergonomic features like the driver-centered, three-seater cockpit.
A Mercedes Benz & McLaren collaboration was the crowning glory of the already successful SLR super sports car. It’s a rear-wheel drive automobile with a 5.5-liter V8 engine that pummels the pavement with 641 horsepower. With only 75 units made, the SLR Stirling Moss had an asking price of $1 million when it was first introduced but now costs over $2.55 million.
McLarens remain the fastest naturally aspirated vehicle in the world, a title they’ve vehemently held for over 30 years. Any car fanatic recognizes the cars’ capabilities and their power output. They’re also prepared to pay the steep asking prices listed to get the automobile they desire.
