Jaguar is making significant changes to the 2021 F-Pace, the company’s midsize, 5-passenger SUV. The updates amount to a thorough refresh, from the styling and interior to the powertrains and infotainment system. Initially, buyers will choose between four models: 250, S 250, S 340, and R-Dynamic S 400. Each is equipped with standard all-wheel drive.

Exterior Features - Find the best Jaguar deals!

The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace looks similar to last year’s model, which is a good thing. But, look carefully, and you can see slimmer front and rear LED lighting, a larger grille with more intricate detailing, a new hood, revised front and rear bumpers, and a revised tailgate. A Black Exterior Pack is available to tone down some of the brightwork.

Jaguar is making major changes inside of the 2021 F-Pace, where a new interior with improved materials and next-generation technology awaits.

Highlights include more soft-touch surfaces, real aluminum and open-pore wood, a revised center console design with more storage and wireless smartphone charging, and new seat designs with wider cushions, improved heating and ventilation, and a massage function.

Standard equipment includes ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, keyless entry, satellite radio, and a 14-speaker Meridian premium sound system. Cabin air ionization with PM2.5 air filtration is also standard, and the 2021 F-Pace will be the first Jaguar offered with Active Road Noise Cancellation to quiet the cabin.

The F-Pace 250 models will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine making 246 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. It pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles, and the standard all-wheel-drive system is rear-drive biased for improved performance and driving feel. Jaguar says the F-Pace 250 accelerates to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds.

The F-Pace S 340 and R-Dynamic S 400 have a mild hybrid 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine using turbocharging and electric supercharging. In the S 340, it makes 335 hp. In the R-Dynamic S 400, it makes 395 hp. It uses the same 8-speed automatic and AWD system as the 250 models, but rushes to 60 mph in as few as five seconds.

Equipped with a belt-integrated starter generator and a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, the mild-hybrid powertrain benefits from smoother and more frequent engine stop/start technology as well as electrified assist at low speeds.

Jaguar Drive Control adjusts the SUV’s throttle response, transmission shifting, and steering effort level to Eco, Comfort, Dynamic, and Rain/Ice/Snow driving modes. In versions of the F-Pace equipped with the optional adaptive suspension, these driving modes also affect the ride and handling characteristics.

Safety - Find the best Jaguar deals!

In addition to advanced driving assistance systems that were standard for the previous F-Pace, the 2021 F-Pace is equipped with standard blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, automatic high-beam headlights, a surround-view camera, and a Clear Exit Monitor that can warn occupants not to open a door when it is unsafe.

Technology - Find the best Jaguar deals!

Jaguar’s new Pivi Pro infotainment system is standard in the 2021 F-Pace, and it uses a new 11.4-inch high-definition curved glass touchscreen. It allows two smartphones to be paired to the Bluetooth at the same time, and it includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone projection. In F-Pace 250 models, a navigation app operates using your smartphone data plan. Others have an embedded navigation system.

Pivi Pro runs on a new electronic vehicle architecture that supports software over-the-air updates. That applies to the new available 12.3-inch instrumentation display, too, which offers full-screen navigation with overlays such as turn-by-turn instructions, places of interest, and more.

Additionally, the 2021 F-Pace is available with a next-generation head-up display and an Activity Key that allows the owner to leave the fob inside of the vehicle, lock up, and engage in outdoor activities without worrying about losing the it. Upon return to the vehicle, the Activity Key wristband unlocks the vehicle.
