2009 Lincoln MKS

Lincoln's new luxury sedan, the MKS, is designed to compete with the best from Lexus, BMW and other high-end makes. The brand's flagship sedan features design elements that will reflect Lincoln's identity for years to come. The double-wing grille was inspired by the 1941 Lincoln Continental. Other elements include LED taillamps, a twin-panel moonroof, and a vertical white light strip that runs along the edge of the trunklid. Inside are luxury touches like premium leather surfaces, real wood, and metal accents. According to Lincoln, the new MKS boasts many best-in-class features, like the most interior volume, leading luggage capacity, heated rear seats, heat-activated keyless entry keypad on the B-pillar, Easy Fuel capless fuel filler system, and a THX II sound system.

Powering the new MKS is a new 3.7-liter V-6 engine that produces 273 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque that is mated to a 6-speed transmission with SelectShift for manual shifting. While there is only one engine choice, there are two drive systems: front or all-wheel drive. Safety plays a major role for the new MKS, with an adaptive collapsible steering column, a stability control system, and side curtain air bags. The body also has been created using high-strength steel, octagonal front rails, and a side-impact protection beam.

2009 Lincoln MKX

All-new in 2007, the MKX crossover vehicle meets 2009 with a host of technologies that will be much appreciated by any buyer. Four special-edition packages are offered, and include a Limited Edition, a Monochromatic Limited Edition, an Ultimate package, and an Ebony Interior package on the Ultimate package. In addition to the new packages, the MKX features customer favorites like the SYNC connectivity system that includes a new 911 Assist feature and Vehicle Health Report. The 911 Assist feature will call 911 directly in the event of an air bag deployment or fuel shut off, while the Vehicle Health Report function allows the customer to monitor over 24 vehicle systems, receive maintenance reports, and schedule service online. Other changes for 2009 include a standard power liftgate, front passenger grab handle, cargo compartment hooks and cargo net, and a universal garage door opener.

2009 Lincoln MKZ

A Midnight Black special-edition package is new for the MKZ sedan for 2009. It includes a black interior treatment with satin nickel accents and light maple wood inserts on the doors, instrument panel and steering wheel. The black leather perforated seats are trimmed with a contrasting piping and have the Lincoln Star logo stitched into the head restraints. In addition to that special package, the MKZ now features standard AdvanceTrac, Ford's electronic stability control program. SYNC, the voice-activated audio/cell phone connectivity system is available, as is other new techno features like voice-activated navigation, SIRIUS satellite radio, THX II audio system and a reverse sensing system. Heated and cooled seats help provide a comfortable cabin. All other powertrain and running gear specs remain the same.

2009 Lincoln Navigator

The big Navigator continues into 2009 with a handful of changes. First is an exterior limited-edition Monochrome Appearance package that features special badging, body-colored exterior trim on the lower grille and cladding, and power-folding heated memory mirrors with ground illumination. Inside, the package features black carpet and floormats, Ebony wood trim, Stone or Camel seats with black leather inserts and piping, and a stitched Lincoln logo on each head restraint. The monochrome package can be ordered in four colors: White Platinum Tri-Coat, Black Clearcoat, Vapor Silver Clearcoat Metallic and Stone Green Clearcoat Metallic.

In order to simplify packaging, Lincoln has made standard many features that previously were optional. Now standard on both the Navigator and extended-length Navigator L are the power liftgate, heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, PowerFold third-row seats, front park-assist sensors, EasyFuel capless fuel filler system, rain-sensing wipers, anti-theft alarm, integrated keyfob, rearview camera; flex-fuel-capable V-8 engine, SYNC connectivity system, and a 14-speaker THX II audio system with SIRIUS satellite radio.

New for 2009 is the available next-generation navigation system featuring SIRIUS Travel Link, which provides real-time traffic information, weather satellite, and fuel station options sorted by price or distance. Major league pro and college sports scores listings as well as moving listings for over 4500 theaters is part of Travel Link. All Navigators come with a 6-month free trial subscription to SIRIUS.

An Elite package includes the moonroof, next-generation navigation system, power running boards, rear-seat entertainment system, and rearview camera display in the navigation screen instead of in the rearview mirror. Three new exterior colors, Monterey Gray Clearcoat Metallic, Sangria Clearcoat Metallic and White Platinum Tri-Coat, finish the changes for 2009.
