The debut of the NX 300—formerly the NX200t—receives the lion share of the automaker’s attention with the GX and LX series unchanged for this model year. Under the hood, there is a 235-horsepower, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive. The exterior is a complete makeover with 18-wheels, new lights, chrome-tipped exhaust pipes, and brand-new grille. Inside, the same attention to detail is evident with a larger 10.3-inch display, distance pacing cruise control, Lexus Enform with Safety Connect communication, and front dual-zone air conditioning with automatic temperature control. The NX300h receives the same styling and feature love. It has a 154-horsepower, gas-electric powertrain with a two-speed continuously variable transmission, delivering a combined MPG of 31. The RX 350 adds some available amenities including a heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, and navigation with voice activation. The X 350L and RX 450hL come on board with a longer wheelbase and modest cosmetic changes.
