2014 Mazda Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Although each of its vehicles got some type of upgrade for the 2014 model year, the biggest news for Mazda was its revamping of the popular Mazda3 and Mazda6. Mazda’s focus on the Mazda3 was to improve its already exciting drive with revised styling, better engines with enhanced fuel efficiency, and practical features, like a new touchscreen infotainment system. The manufacturer also gifted the Mazda3 with optional driver-assistance technology like lane departure and forward collision warnings. For the Mazda6 was a new diesel engine option, improved safety systems, a standard rearview camera, and a shortened and lighter body style to boost aerodynamics. Other Mazdas received subtle changes, like redesigned alloy wheels for the CX-9, updated safety and infotainment features in the CX-5, and an enhanced Touring trim for the Mazda2, featuring a rear roof spoiler, 15-inch wheels, chrome exhaust tips, and stylish red-piped seats.
