The Mazda5 is a carryover model for 2015. It continues to offer great versatility, fuel economy and people hauling capabilities for its size.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Mazda5 is essentially unchanged after its debut in 2012. Several new colors are available and the automatic version now gets a little bit better fuel economy around town. Otherwise, the innovative 5-door remains unaltered.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Mazda5 is all new for 2012, with a resculpted, dynamic look on the outside, better interior detailing and a slightly larger, more powerful engine--without affecting fuel economy. And with the stylish new look inside and out, around the idea of "seductive smartness," it doesn't give up any interior space or functionality.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Mazda5 is largely unchanged for 2010, and dynamic stability control is now standard across the lineup.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe 2009 Mazda5 is virtually unchanged from the mildly redesigned 2008 model. The overhead DVD entertainment system is no longer available. Base prices have risen slightly over last year.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2008, the Mazda5 gets a slightly different appearance, some new features, and a new automatic transmission. A new front bumper fascia design and flowing grille give the model a sportier look, enhanced by new headlight and taillight designs. Inside, there have been extensive changes to the front half of the vehicle, including a new shift panel and center console, new electroluminescent gauges, second-row vents with individual fan-speed controls, and front passenger inboard armrests. Sound systems now have an auxiliary input jack. On Grand Touring models, features have been expanded to include an alarm system and Bluetooth hands-free interface. Mechanically, a five-speed automatic transmission replaces the former four-speed auto. A new Sand interior color is available, and five new exterior colors join the palette: Copper Red, Golden Sand, Stormy Blue, Sunlight Silver, and Crystal White Pearl.
SelectBrowse ListingsNew for 2006, the Mazda5 changes little for 2007. The Grand Touring trim level joins the Mazda5 Sport and Touring models, and it comes standard with a four-speed automatic transmission, leather trimmed heated seats, xenon HID headlights, and black headlight and taillight bezels.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Mazda 5 was introduced in 2006 as a compact yet roomy, feature-rich minivan. It was powered by a 2.3-liter Inline four-cylinder engine that was rated at 157 horsepower. In 2007, Mazda added the new Ground Touring Trim, which boasted heated seats, leather upholstery and powerful HID headlamps. The 2008 Mazda 5 featured new styling on the front and rear, a new center console design and a new gauge cluster that was electroluminescent. The four-speed automatic transmission was discontinued in favor of a five-speed, except in the Sport trim, which got a five-speed manual. Various other minor tweaks were made to different trim levels during this model year. While no changes were made for 2009, the 2010 Mazda 5 offered traction and stability control as standard features. The Mazda 5 would coast through 2011 unchanged, but was completely redesigned for 2012. In 2013, USB and iPod integration was made standard, and the six-disc CD changer was discontinued.
