2009 Mazda Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Mazda's 2009 unveiling updated their compact sports utility Tribute to a 2.5-liter engine boasting 171 horses under the hood. A Tribute Hybrid was also released, featuring a combination of electronic propulsion along with the same engine or the optional six-cylinder producing 240 horsepower. New to the RX-8 in 2009 was an R3 Sports Package for a stylish makeover, while the Mazda3's 2008 upgrades now came standard along with a revised interior for the i Touring Value and Mazdaspeeed3. Sunroofs were added to the Touring and Grand Touring versions of the Mazda5 as well. While focusing on these changes to their lineup, the B4000 Cab Plus SE pickup truck was dropped from the United States market in 2009 with the B series taking over as Mazda's only truck. The MX-5 Miata proved a popular car for this year, offering buyers smoother transitions and better response. The MX-5 premium package features Bluetooth, dynamic stability control with TCS, and keyless entry.
