About CX-7

In 2007, Mazda introduced the CX-7 as a brand-new crossover SUV that was styled after the popular RX-8 design. It was a sportier vehicle that offered ample interior room, plenty of desirable features and that was powered by a fuel efficient 2.3-liter Inline four-cylinder engine that was rated at 244 horsepower. The CX-7 entered 2008 with minimal changes for its second year of production. In 2009, minor changes were made to various trim levels and packages. The 2010 model year saw the addition of the SV trim, an enhanced and more fuel efficient engine (for the turbocharged models), a redesigned and updated interior, and a smoother and sleeker front grille. In 2011, Mazda updated the CX-7i Touring trim, and improved the turbo engine model. The CX-7 would pass into 2012 with no major changes.
