2009 Cadillac Ratings, Reviews and Awards

The Cadillac CTS-V made its return in the 2009 model year with a supercharged V8 engine powerhouse, the most powerful ever produced by Cadillac. A luxurious handcrafted interior and high-tech add-ons from adaptive headlamps to advanced audio all made the CTS-V Cadillac's prize model of the year, as well as an upgrade from the standard CTS trim level. Their large and in charge Escalade models now came with E85 FlexFuel capabilities, LED headlights, blind-spot warning systems, and OnStar features. With the Escalade ESV packing 403 horsepower, Cadillac stood out from its SUV producing competitors in power, luxury, and fuel economy. The sportier STS models were also released in 2009, sharing much of the same features as the CTS models with added power and minor add-on luxury features. While the CTS-V remained a top seller, fans of roadster models could also enjoy the XRL with its optional retractable hard roof, Corvette underpinnings, and simplistic electronics.
