2007 and 2008 see Jeep redesigning many of its most popular models; in 2008, it's the Grand Cherokee and the Liberty that get the full treatment. The Wrangler was redesigned the previous year, and it keeps its 3.8 L, V-6, 202 hp engine this year, but the addition of a Sahara Appearance package (including remote start) and a standard Sunrider softtop on the two-door Wranglers. This SUV gets a combined 17-18 mpg and seats up to five. The Grand Cherokee's 2008 makeover includes a new front fascia and grille, new amenities such as Sirius backseat TV and MyGig infotainment, as well as available rear-park-assist and backup camera. The new Grand Cherokee features a 4.7 L, V-8 engine with 305hp and 334 pound-feet of torque, both increases over the 2007 model. The Liberty's new engine is a 210hp, 3.7 L, V-6 engine that gets a decent 18-19 combined mpg.
