The 2024 Lexus UX 250h luxury hybrid SUV is set to launch, carrying forward its dynamic drive and various luxury options. It supports Lexus' efforts towards a carbon-neutral society, featuring a hybrid powertrain that delivers 181 total system horsepower and a 17.1-foot turning radius. The hybrid system comprises a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and two electric motors/generators in a hybrid transaxle, available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations.
Aesthetically, the 2024 UXh sports a Lexus spindle grille with a block-shape mesh pattern, LED daytime running lights in an arrowhead motif, and full-width rear lights with a unique nighttime signature. The aerodynamic profile, large wheels, flared fenders, and sculpted surfaces create an agile, sporty stance. The vehicle also features Aero Stabilizing Blade Lights and a wing-type spoiler to enhance stability and aerodynamics.
Equipped with 18-inch run-flat tires and offering different wheel options for Base, Premium, and F SPORT models, the 2024 UXh comes in various exterior colors, including Caviar, Obsidian, Redline, Nori Green Pearl, Grecian Water, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Eminent White Pearl, and Cadmium Orange. F SPORT models offer six color options with an Obsidian roof.
Built on a high-strength global architecture platform, the UXh blends handling agility and smooth, quiet ride comfort. The vehicle has a low center of gravity at 23.4 inches and features MacPherson strut front suspension and trailing arm double wishbone type rear suspension. Active Cornering Assist (ACA) integrated with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) improves cornering precision and stability.
The UX 250h is available in eight models, including F SPORT Design and F SPORT Handling. The F SPORT Handling model adds an Active Variable Suspension (AVS) for enhanced handling and ride comfort. The UXh cabin has a luxury sedan feel, higher seating position, and versatility. It has five USB ports, 8-way power-adjustable front seats, and NuLuxe®-trimmed seating in various color choices.
The 2024 Lexus UX 250h features an 8-inch or optional 12.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth® phone connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and Wi-Fi Connect with 4G connectivity for up to five devices. The Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 is standard on all 2024 UXh models, including Pre-Collision with Pedestrian Detection, Low-light Pedestrian & Daytime Bicyclist Detection, Left Turn Vehicle Intersection Support, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Intelligent High Beams, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist.
The 2024 Lexus UX 250h is designed for optimal driver comfort, with essential vehicle functions grouped around the driver's side of the cabin. The driver-focused space includes an available color head-up display that shows crucial information such as speed, shift position, navigation directions, and dynamic radar cruise control. The standard Lexus Interface with a touchscreen display ensures easy operation for both driver and passenger.
Entering and exiting the UXh is effortless due to the hip point's optimal placement and the seat cushion's unique shaping. The human-centered design is evident in the low, unobtrusive instrument panel and slim A-pillar moldings, which help improve visibility. The UXh also offers 8-way power-adjustable front seats, with adjustable lumbar support for the driver and manual forward/backward adjustment for the headrests.
The UX 250h Premium model includes standard heated and ventilated front seats, a power tilt-and-slide moonroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The dashboard trim finish is inspired by the grain of Japanese paper or washi, which evokes a sense of warmth and tranquility. The NuLuxe®-trimmed seating is available in Black, Palomino, and Birch, with additional exclusive color options for F SPORT Design and F SPORT Handling models.
The 2024 Lexus UX 250h comes equipped with the latest in-vehicle connectivity and infotainment features. With an active Drive Connect trial or subscription, the Intelligent Assistant offers enhanced voice-recognition accuracy using dual microphones and seat detection capabilities. By simply saying "Hey Lexus," available voice commands can operate interior amenities such as navigation, multimedia, and climate control.
Additionally, with an active Remote Connect trial or subscription, the Lexus app can remotely lock or unlock doors, start the vehicle, and adjust climate control, among other functions. The Lexus Safety Connect trial offers access to emergency and vehicle theft services, while the Service Connect trial connects a compatible Lexus and dealer for detailed maintenance reminders and Vehicle Health Reports.
