Top-Rated 2017 Family SUVs in Quality

Christian Wardlaw | Jun 21, 2017

Since 1987, J.D. Power has conducted the annual J.D. Power Initial Quality StudySM (IQS) in order to measure owner-reported design and defect problems with new vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership. An industry benchmark of owner satisfaction with new-vehicle quality, the 2017 IQS is based on more than 77,000 survey responses.

J.D. Power calculates Power Circle Ratings from this automotive research. These ratings visually reflect and summarize the study’s findings, helping consumers to make better choices when they shop for a new vehicle.
