New for 2018:Infiniti

On the car side of Infiniti’s lineup for 2018, the Q50 gets styling updates inside and out, and all Infiniti cars have new trim and option package names. On the SUV side, the QX50 goes on hiatus for a year, the QX60 Hybrid is dropped, and the QX80 gets a significant refresh based on the Monograph concept vehicle shown at the 2017 New York Auto Show.

Detailed changes for each 2018 Infiniti car and SUV model are shown below, listed in alphabetical order.

 

2018 Infiniti Q50

 

  • Mild styling updates to the exterior and interior
  • New Pure and Luxe trim levels join Sport and Red Sport 400
  • Pure trim is only offered with the standard turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine
  • Luxe trim is offered with the turbo 2.0-liter and the available turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6
  • Hybrid model comes only with Luxe trim
  • Sport trim features a turbocharged, 3.0-liter V-6 engine in standard tune
  • Red Sport 400 trim has a more powerful version of the turbo V-6
  • All-wheel drive remains an option with every trim and powertrain
  • Option package names are changed to Essential, Sensory, ProAssist, and ProActive
  • A new steering wheel debuts, moving the paddle shifters from the steering column to the wheel itself

 

2018 Infiniti Q60

 

  • Pure and Luxe trim levels join Sport and Red Sport 400
  • Pure trim is limited to the turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine
  • Luxe trim is offered with the turbo four and a turbocharged V-6
  • Sport trim comes only with the turbo V-6
  • Red Sport 400 trim is equipped with a higher-output version of the turbo V-6
  • All-wheel drive is available with every trim and engine
  • Option packages include Sensory, ProAssist, and ProActive
  • New wheel finish for Sport
  • New non-run-flat tires for Red Sport 400
  • New paint color: Solar Mica

 

2018 Infiniti Q70

 

  • Luxe trim is standard
  • Single-display InTouch infotainment system
  • Option packages are named Essential, Sensory, and ProActive

 

2018 Infiniti QX30

 

  • In its second year of production, the QX30 receives no changes

 

2018 Infiniti QX60

 

  • Infiniti has discontinued the hybrid version of the QX60

 

2018 Infiniti QX80

 

  • Infiniti will make an “extensive update” to the QX80, foreshadowed by the QX80 Monograph concept vehicle the company debuted at the 2017 New York Auto Show
