About GLI

The compact GLI sedan was only called the GLI for 2008, not the Jetta, with the only major updates being made to the upper trim levels. Tweaks to trim levels and optional packages were the only changes for 2009. Following a two-year hiatus, the GLI returned in 2012 as an all-new model with a redesigned interior and exterior and sportier features. Itd enter 2013 unchanged.
