2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan trims

2020 Cullinan

For 2020, the Cullinan carries over with minimal changes. A new trim aptly named Black Badge offers a fully unique look inside and out, while new options include leather sanctuary seats, the viewing suite, power adjustable calf rests, leather floor mats, and piano white veneer. The Cullinan represents Rolls-Royce's first venture into SUV production. It is one of the most anticipated models to ever be released by the British marque and represents them turning over a new leaf, as they explore the expanding luxury SUV market. It is a market that has grown increasingly accepting of progressively more expensive sport utility vehicles with a big helping of luxury and performance to go along with their original utilitarian purpose. Rolls-Royce looks to continue this trend with their own take on the genre, creating what is certainly the most luxurious SUV ever made with the craftsmanship and customizability to prove it.

About Corniche

Previously used as a word meaning coastal road, Corniche would become an extensively used moniker by Rolls-Royce through the latter part of the 20th century by Rolls-Royce. Though the first generation Rolls-Royce Corniche introduced in 1971 was available as a two-door coupe until 1981, the nameplate was heavily associated as a convertible drophead model. Following the first Corniche model, Corniche II, Corniche III and Corniche IV vehicles produced up to 1995 reflected gradual updates to the standards of luxury but retained the same basic design. The final iteration of the car Corniche debuting for 2000 embodied a slightly more modern front end. Throughout the history of the Corniche, Rolls-Royce's 6.75-liter V-8 engine was heavily modified to serve as the power unit for 41 years. Later versions of the engine used turbocharging resulting in the production of 325 horsepower. Production of the Rolls-Royce Corniche ended after the 2002 model year as BMW Group took total control of the luxury brand.
