About Huracan

Succeeding the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Italian auto brand's highest-produced vehicle, the Huracan generated waves with its 2015 introduction. In sculpting the Huracan body, Lamborghini engineers decided against frills of active aerodynamics resulting in a clean, sleek appearance. The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is propelled by a mid-mounted 5.2-liter V-10 engine generating 602 horsepower channeled through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. In the second year of production, the Lamborghini Huracan line-up expanded with several new vehicles. Along with the fixed roof hardtop, an open-top Spyder version of the Huracan LP610-4 premiered. Initially only offered with all-wheel drive (with exception to the track-only Super Trofeo model developed for a single-brand racing series), the 2016 Lamborghini Huracan product line-up added the rear-wheel drive LP 580-2. Steering and suspension was reworked on the Huracan LP 580-2 to best manage the rear-wheel driven for 0 to 62-mile per hour launches in 3.4 seconds. A limited edition Huracan LP 610-4 Avio honoring the Italian air force with a unique color appearance made an auto show debut in March of 2016 as a 2017 model year release.
