About Crosstour

Introduced in 2010 as the Accord Crosstour, Honda disassociated their strikingly radical styling study with the more convention Accord for 2012. A fusion of crossover and five-door fastback, the Honda Crosstour provides both practically and road-going performance. Standing with up to 6.2 inches of ground clearance, the five-passenger Crosstour is equipped with front-wheel drive or Hondas Real Time four-wheel drive. For 2012, the Honda Crosstour was offered with a choice of a powerplants. Peak power for the 2012 Crosstour arrived from a 3.5-liter V-6 i-VTEC V-6 engine featuring a cylinder deactivation system. Generating 271 horsepower for 2012, the 3.5-liter V-6 engine was joined a 2.4-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder later into the 2012 model year. Offered only with front-wheel drive version of the Crosstour, the 192-horsepower four-cylinder engine boasted 27.5 miles per gallon city/highway combined fuel efficiency (more than two miles per gallon better average fuel economy than the V-6). The unique Honda crossover vehicle came well equipped with EX and EX-L trim levels. Rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity and auto on/off headlights were standard on the Crosstour EX while the EX-L added leather-trimmed seating as well as a HomeLink transmitter. The interior of the Honda Crosstour offered five-passenger capacity that could be converted to accommodate up to 51.3 cubic feet of cargo when the rear seating was folded down. For the 2013 model year Crosstour, the six-cylinders output was increased to 300 horsepower with the incorporation of Hondas Earth Dreams technology. A six-speed automatic transmission was also introduced as an option for the V-6-powered 2013 Honda Crosstour. The Honda Crosstours optional features list grew in 2013 with the availability of items like HondaLink featuring Aha radio compatibility, Forward Collision Warning and Smart Entry with push button start.
