The Accord Crosstour is a new addition to the Honda lineup for 2010. Based on the hugely successful Accord sedan, the small, sleek crossover vehicle features a unique design and a taller profile. Power comes from the same 271-hp 3.5L V6 that propels the Accord sedan and coupe, and it is mated to a smart 5-speed automatic transmission that matches revs on downshifts. Crosstour models include the front-wheel-drive EX, EX-L and a 4-wheel-drive version of the EX-L.

The front end combined the shorter headlamps housing design found on the Accord Coupe split by a large grille. Four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking system, 17-inch aluminum wheels and a moonroof were some notable exterior features included standard on the unorthodox Honda crossover vehicle. More than 7.5 inches taller than the conventional Accord, the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour featured 6 inches of ground clearance.
The added height off the ground could be paired with an optional Real Time 4WD that can provide slip-detecting power distribution to all wheels. The 2010 Accord Crosstour was exclusively equipped with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine featuring Hondas i-VTEC technology and Variable Cylinder Management. Producing 271 horsepower, the engine was matched with a five-speed automatic transmission on model front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models of the Accord Crosstour.
Equipped with a five-passenger seating layout, the cabin of the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour was equipped with standard dual-zone air conditioning and a 360-watt, 7-speaker stereo system with 6-disc CD player. Created for superior practicality, the 25.7 cubic-foot cargo area of the Accord Crosstour could be expanded to 51.3 cubic feet when the second row seating is folded down.
A clever 8.4-inch Hidden Removable Utility Box was also integrated into the interior of the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour. After 2011, Honda dropped the Accord name association with the vehicle referring to the crossover as the Crosstour onward from 2012.
