The Fiesta carries over to 2019 with few changes, though a new ST-Line trim adds the ST's appearance features to a standard Fiesta, but not the turbocharged engine.
SelectBrowse ListingsIn 2018 the Ford Fiesta says goodbye to the optional 1.0L 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine while making the rearview camera standard on all model and increasing the central display screen size from 3.5 inches to 4.2 inches.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Fiesta remains essentially unchanged for 2017. A new color has been added to the ST trim, while the standard Fiesta gets a couple of new wheel designs.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2016, the Ford Fiesta receives the new optional Sync 3 infotainment system. It replaces the old MyFord Touch system of previous years and provides a new interface with a capacitive touchscreen. The system features swipe and pinch functionality, much like the gestures used on smartphones and tablets. Remote keyless entry and an alarm system are now standard.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2015 the Fiesta receives mostly cosmetic changes. New 16-inch alloy wheels are available as is a graphics package which adds stripes along the bottom of the doors. The seats get some revised trim and a new exterior color is also available.
SelectBrowse ListingsBig news in the Fiesta lineup for 2014 is the introduction of the high-performance Fiesta ST. The 5-door hatchback ST is powered by a turbocharged 1.6L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which produces 197 hp and 214 ft-lb of torque. Fuel economy is an estimated 34 mpg on the highway. The car comes in hatchback style only, with a 6-speed manual transmission and is priced at $21,400. Also new in the Fiesta range is a turbocharged 1.0L EcoBoost 3-cylinder engine. The engine makes 123 hp and 148 ft-lb of torque and joins the naturally aspirated 1.6L currently available in the Fiesta. Elsewhere, the Fiesta receives updated exterior styling, with a more aggressive look up front, including thinner headlights with LED running lights, a power dome on the hood and a trapezoidal grille like that found on the attractive Fusion sedan. Inside, the Fiesta gets a new MyFord Touch system, which features a better voice recognition function and better navigation, along with improved Bluetooth integration and a larger 6.5-inch LCD color touchscreen.
SelectBrowse ListingsFord has simplified and streamlined their trim levels for the Fiesta in 2013, bringing them more in line with the rest of the Ford lineup. The Fiesta is still available in two body styles, hatchback and sedan. Both body styles can be ordered in one of three trim levels, S, SE and Titanium.
SelectBrowse ListingsFollowing its U.S. introduction in 2011, the Ford Fiesta continues mostly unchanged for 2012. Updates include the addition of several new packages, including a Premium Sport Appearance Package, which looks much like the Euro-spec Fiesta RS with blackout trim, spoiler, 16-inch wheels and 4.25 final drive gears in place of the standard 4.07 when equipped with a manual transmission. Several Premium interior packages are also available on the SEL and SES trims this year, featuring 2-tone color schemes like Oxford White/black and Race Red/black.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe 2011 Ford Fiesta is a new model for the U.S. market this year, but in its present form the Fiesta has already been sold for several years in Europe. As a subcompact that's a little bit smaller than the Ford Focus--and about the same size as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa and Chevrolet Aveo. The Fiesta aims at younger, tech-savvy small-car buyers, as well as those who are downsizing their cars, but who don't want to sacrifice features.
SelectBrowse ListingsAfter a 30-year hiatus from the United States auto market, the Ford Fiesta returned as a new subcompact choice in 2011. Billed as a hip, economy car, the Fiestas was offered either as a four-door sedan or a five-door hatchback body style. Powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine generating 120 horsepower, the 2011 Fiesta came standard with a five-speed manual transmission. The 2011 Ford Fiesta entered the United States as one of the most inexpensive cars to feature a dual-clutch transmission choice.
The six-speed PowerShift dual-clutch transmission provided automatic shifting with the gear change performance designed to mimic a manual. Ford Fiestas equipped with the PowerShift transmission boasted fuel economy as high as 38 miles per gallon in highway driving conditions. Seven airbags, anti-lock braking system, air conditioning and power door locks included standard on all 2011 Fiestas allowed the vehicle to tout high value. The low base price of the Fiesta has compelled many early buyers to add high-comfort options to the car. Leather upholstery and heated seats proved very popular on the Ford Fiesta during its first months in the United States equipped on approximately half the vehicles sold.
For 2014, the Ford Fiesta received brand-new front and rear styling. Ford added improved the performance creditability of the 2014 Fiesta with the addition of the ST trim level. Equipped with lowered, stiffer suspension and Torque Vectoring Control, the Ford Fiesta ST sport subcompacts propulsion was derived from an all-aluminum powerplant using EcoBoost engine technology. The turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost power unit provided the Fiesta ST with 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet of torque channeled through a six-speed manual transmission. Also for 2014, a 123-horsepower 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine choice was added to the Fiesta line-up allowing the car to travel up to 45 miles per gallon on the highway.
