Chrysler has simplified the 300 line up by removing the Limited and 300C and offering only the 300 Touring and 300S for 2021.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Chrysler 300 gets only minor updates for the 2020 model year. The biggest news is the addition of a Red S Appearance Package which is available on 300S models. It mostly adds some unique badging, including red inserts into the Chrysler Wing badge that spans the front grille, but more noticeable are the 20-inch wheels also included with the package. Buyers who opt in are also given the option of having their interior done up in red.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2019 the Chrysler 300 is mostly unchanged, though the 300S models get black wheels when ordered with the appearance or touring package.
SelectBrowse ListingsChrysler brings about a number of trim level adjustments and naming re-alignment with its counterpart the Pacifica for 2018. Trims now include Touring and Touring L packages as well as the 5.7L Hemi V8 coming standard on the 300C while being optional on the 300S. Metallic Ocean Blue and Metallic Green are new exterior colors this year.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Chrysler 300 gets several new interior features for 2017 along with increased connectivity options. The most noticeable addition is probably the new 8.4-inch touchscreen which not only looks better, but works better than the one it replaces. It houses software which can now interact with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a new UConnect system, which has been improved for ease of use. Several new option packages are also available for 2017 including an Alloy Edition Package on the 300S, featuring dark bronze accenting throughout its black interior.
SelectBrowse ListingsFollowing a fairly major update for 2015, the Chrysler 300 enters 2016 with only minor updates. The base 300 features an improved suspension, while the 300S now rides on a more performance-oriented suspension. A new 8.4-inch touchscreen interface is more intuitive, particularly as it is paired with Siri Eyes Free voice control. A new 90th Anniversary Edition adds special badging, a dual-pane sunroof, and Uconnect 8.4 with navigation and Traffic and Travel Link.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Chrysler 300 gets a fairly major update for 2015. Both the interior and the exterior of the car have been refreshed. A new grill and front fascia are the most immediately recognizable changes, but new wheels have also been added along with a few other minor cosmetic enhancements. Inside, a new steering wheel greets the driver along with a 7-inch full color driver information display. On the technology front, the Chrysler 300 improves with the addition of a "Sport" button to tighten things up on twisty roads. Improved functionality from Chrysler's Uconnect system is also new for 2015, with roadside assistance, theft alarm notification and an improved navigation system.
SelectBrowse Listings2013 brings relatively minor changes to the Chrysler 300 model lineup. The Limited model has been dropped, consolidating the lineup and making things a bit simpler. All-wheel drive is now available across the entire model range with the exception of the high performance SRT8 and the V6 has been given a slight boost in power for 300S models. 300S and SRT8 models also get an optional black painted roof.
SelectBrowse ListingsFollowing a complete redesign in 2011, the 300 returns with minor changes for 2012. The V6-equipped versions now come with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which is said to boost highway mileage past 30 mpg. All-wheel-drive is also now available on V6-equipped versions. A new model joins the lineup for 2012: the 300S. In addition, the 300 SRT8 has been reintroduced after a year-long hiatus. Both feature specific trim and performance enhancements, with the SRT8 powered by a 470-horsepower 6.4L V8.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe 300 gets redesigned styling inside and out. The front is all-new, and gets a more streamlined appearance, with a smaller grille and new headlights and front spoiler, all of which strongly suggest Audi. The rear gets LED taillights, subtle chrome and integrated tailpipes. The base engine is a new 3.6L V6--more powerful and more efficient than the one that came on the 2010 model. A new SRT8 is planned for later in the model year.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Chrysler 300 and 300C lineup has only a few feature changes for 2010. V8-powered 300C models get increased standard equipment; ParkSense rear parking assist, plus keyless entry and Keyless Go are now standard on all 300C models, while heated chromed mirrors, chromed exterior door handles and chromed rear-fascia accents are all standard on the 300C Touring. Supplemental side-curtain airbags, which remained optional on the base 300 last year, are now standard on all Chrysler 300 and 300C models.
SelectBrowse ListingsFollowing some significant updates both inside and out in 2008, the Chrysler 300 sedan sees only limited changes for 2009. Chief among them is a new, advanced all-wheel-drive system. Rather than the previous fixed 38/62 power split from front to rear, the new system features an active transfer case with front axle disconnect that adjusts how much power is delivered to the front wheels. The 5.7L Hemi V8 in 300C models now delivers more horsepower and torque, as well as increased fuel efficiency, thanks in part to improved Multi-Displacement System (MDS) and variable valve timing (VVT). All 300s get increased standard equipment -- adaptive cruise control is available, and Limited and 300C models have a more refined suspension for a softer ride. A Walter P. Chrysler Executive option is available on Touring and Hemi models, which adds six inches of length to the 300.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2008, Chrysler's 300 sedans have been refreshed with a number of minor changes inside and out. Front and rear fascias are redesigned, and new taillamps and a new rear decklid give the back a different look. Inside, the instrument panel has been redesigned, the cruise-control lever has been relocated, and soft-touch surfaces are now used on the arm rests and door panels. LED interior lighting is now available for cup holders and map pockets. Several new interior color combinations are offered, faux-wood trim now comes on the Limited, and the cloth upholstery is new. Adaptive cruise control is now optional on the 300C, and power adjustable pedals are standard on the Limited. Front seat-mounted supplemental air bags have been added on some models; side-curtain bags covering front and rear rows remain standard. Sound systems have also been reconfigured. A new Boston Acoustics eight-speaker surround sound system with subwoofer is available on the 300C, the MyGig multimedia entertainment system with navigation is available across the line, and a rear-seat entertainment system with Sirius satellite TV and a one-year subscription is optional on Touring, Limited, and 300C models. Remote start is another new option. Three new colors join the line for 2008: Clearwater Blue Pearl, Dark Titanium Metallic Clear Coat, and Light Sandstone Metallic Clear Coat replace Marine Blue Pearl, Linen Gold, and Silver Steel Metallic.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Chrysler 300 is a carry-over model for 2007. It is available as both a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, and with all-wheel drive. The 300 continues to offer a sharply designed, remarkably roomy four-door sedan for not a lot of money. A new Executive Package can be added to the 300 Touring and the 300C. It stretches the wheelbase, benefiting the rear leg room by six inches. SmartBeam intelligent headlamps are now optional on the 300 Limited and standard on 300C models. Optional heated rear seats and auto-dimming passenger-side exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals, complete the notable differences.
SelectBrowse ListingsReplacing the Concorde and the 300M sedan, the 2005 model year brought forth a brand-new flagship four-door vehicle for Chrysler. Simply called the Chrysler 300, the 2005 model year 300 sedans construction borrowed heavily from the Mercedes-Benz parts bin sharing many components with the E-Class.
Offered with two V-6 engine choices (a 190-horsepower 2.7-liter and 250-horsepower 3.5-liter powerplant), the most enticing powerplant included on the 2005 Chrysler 300 was an eight-cylinder units. The first such engine found on a Chrysler sedan since the 1989 Fifth Avenue, the V-8 powerplant included on the 300C was a 5.7-liter HEMI generating 340 horsepower. A tribute to the 300 letter cars of the 1950s, familiar HEMI badging appeared with the 5.7-liter V-8 engine. Available as a special high-performance model fitted with a 425-horsepower 6.1-liter HEMI engine, the Chrysler 300C SRT-8 sported unique front and rear body pieces, 20-inch forged aluminum wheels mounted to Goodyear F1 tires.
Standard equipped as a rear-wheel drive vehicle, the Chrysler 300 could also be equipped with an all-wheel drive system for optimized traction. Making the Chrysler 300 more appropriate as a vehicle chauffeuring VIPs, the W.P. Chrysler Executive Series Package was made available for 2007 that stretched the wheelbase by six inches.
Other options made available for the first time on the Chrysler 300 in 2007 included adaptive cruise control, SmartBeam intelligent headlights and rear heated seating. In 2011, the 300 sedan underwent a major revision. LED headlamps became standard on the 2011 Chrysler 300 while a touchscreen-operated Uconnect Touch 8.4 infotainment system was also included in the cabin of the base level sedan. A 292-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 powerplant was added in 2011 as a new base engine for the Chrysler 300. Along with a 363-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI, the 300 SRT-8 returned in 2012 with an engine pumping out 465 horsepower.
