The Chevrolet Captiva gets a few new options for 2013. Parking lot fender benders should be reduced with the addition of rear park assist, while heated outside mirrors are now available. The inside mirror also receives attention with an optional auto-dimming function. New 17-inch alloy wheels have been introduced as well as a set of chrome 18-inchers. A couple of new colors have been introduced for 2013 as well: Champagne Silver Metallic and Silver Topaz Metallic.

The 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport is an all-new vehicle in the Chevy lineup. The small SUV shares its DNA with the former Saturn VUE, and is cousin to the Captiva much of Europe has enjoyed for years. The Captiva Sport comes powered either by a 182-hp Ecotec 2.4L direct-injected 4-cylinder or a 264-hp 3.0L direct-injected V6 engine. Both are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Captiva Sport comes with standard front-wheel drive, though an all-wheel-drive variant is available.
