A popular family crossover vehicle choice, the Toyota Highlander is heavily updated for 2017. One of the first major additions is a new 3.5-liter V-6 engine incorporating D-4S Fuel Injection. This 295-horsepower powerplant is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission delivering improved responsiveness and fuel economy. A SE trimmed Toyota Highlander integrates a sportier look with the crossover while the Highlander Hybrid line expands for 2017 through the inclusion of a LE and XLE trim model. Adding a hybrid variant last year, the 2017 Toyota RAV4 range is expanded with a SE Hybrid model as well as a top-end Platinum trim level for the conventionally powered variant.
