The 2017 model year for Nissan includes a completely redesigned version of their full-sized sport utility vehicle. Based on a new platform existing as the Nissan Patrol in other country and as the Infiniti QX70 in North America, the new 2017 Nissan Armada employs eight-passenger cargo capacity, power from a 5.6-liter Endurance V-8 engine and long list of available safety equipment. A long-serving nameplate in Nissan's lineup, the Pathfinder crossover is powered by a revised 3.5-liter V-6 for 2017 resulting in higher horsepower and greater towing capacity. All new for the 2017 Rogue is a Hybrid version equipped with a gasoline/electric powertrain. In association with the movie late 2016 movie release of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", Nissan has been able to produce a limited special release version of the Rogue crossover. Only 5,000 examples of the Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition Nissan crossover will be sold in the United States with each example including a collectible, full-size replica of a Death Trooper helmet. Minor changes are found with the Nissan Juke and Murano for 2017.
