The 2016 Ford F-150 remains one of America's best-selling vehicles, having been the best-selling truck 38 straight years. For 2016, Ford offers new available features such as trailer-backup assist system and new Special Appearance Packages for the XLT and Lariat. The 2016 Ford F-150 also offers a compressed-natural gas/propane prep package for the 5.0-liter V-8, in an effort to reduce emissions. There are also a few new available colors, along with 20-inch wheels available for the XL trim. Overall, four engines are available – the aforementioned 2.7-liter V-6, a 3.5-liter V-6, a 5.0-liter V-8, and a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6.
