2015 Super Duty F-450 DRW

For 2015, Ford F-Series Super Duty pickups get a few significant upgrades. Most importantly, a new 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel boosts output to a best-in-class 440 horsepower, with torque rated at 860 ft-lb, thanks in part to a larger turbocharger. The F-450 now rides on standard 19.5-inch wheels, with a sturdier chassis now capable of towing up to 31,200 pounds with a gooseneck hitch and 26,500 with a fifth-wheel, while the F-350 tow ratings are also improved, to 26,500 pounds for both gooseneck and fifth-wheel applications.

Ford's commercial-oriented Super-Duty trucks return for 2013 with plenty of small changes. Among them is an improved braking system, including a larger parking brake and bigger front and rear brake rotors. The gross vehicle weight rating has increased to a class-leading 14,000 pounds. Other changes include the addition of a new Platinum series model, which features a perforated mesh grille with satin chrome surround and other exterior touches, while inside you'll find premium wood grain surfaces, a heated leather steering wheel and more. Ford's exclusive SYNC with MyFord Touch is new for 2013. It's standard on Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum models. The system includes an 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen display, with access to climate controls, phone, entertainment, and navigation features, along with voice control. The display also shows view from the rear backup camera. New exterior colors include Blue Jeans Metallic, Kodiak Brown Metallic and Ruby Red Metallic.

Ford's Super Duty F-Series trucks are refined and refreshed for 2011, with an emphasis placed squarely on power. The front end is bigger and bolder in its design, including the grille, which boasts a Blue Oval emblem more than a foot across. The hood has also been reconfigured to make room for two newly available engines--a 6.2L gasoline V8 and a "Scorpion" 6.7L Power Stroke turbocharged diesel--each of which boasts more power than its predecessors. Both are mated to an all-new 6-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the Super Duty has a new flow-through console, which begins at the instrument panel and stretches to the back seat in models so equipped, and it features an array of customizable storage options. Added features to aid in towing are Hill Start Assist, which prevents rollback and Hill Ascent and Hill Descent Control, which regulate the brakes and throttle while to provide more control in up-and-down terrarin. And an electronic locking differential provides maximum traction. Side air bags and air curtains are optional and a new 4.2-inch LCD screen displays information on specific features such as Trailer Brake Control and Tow Haul.
