2011 Volvo Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Plenty of drivers think of Volvo as a safe and reliable option. The automaker is known for producing safe family vehicles. In an effort to shake things up and shed its ""family-friendly,"" somewhat stale and staid image, Volvo revamped the S60 for the 2011 model year. The 2011 S60 sedan has a distinctly ""un-Volvo"" look, likened to a ""coupe with four doors."" The sedan is more squat and closer to the ground than previous, box-like Volvo models. Although the S60 is Volvo's attempt at being cool and hip, it doesn't sacrifice safety. The S60 is full of innovative safety features, including a Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake feature, designed to stop the car when a person accidentally steps in front of it. Another useful safety feature is City Safety, which is meant to reduce the occurrence of low-speed collisions.
