About V50

In 2005, Volvo phased out the aging V40 wagon, replacing it with the all-new V50. Trim level adjustments were the only changes in store for 2006. In 2007, stability control was made standard across all trims. Major changes were in store for 2008. The exterior style was revamped, as was the interior, the sound system was upgraded and now included satellite radio, and major shuffling amongst trims and options took place. Model years 2009-2011 only featured changes to different trim levels and options.
