2008 Volvo Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Trading on its reputation as a high-quality automaker, Volvo made several strides forward in 2008, attempting to attract a new customer base and to establish itself as one of the premier car manufacturers in the world. To do so, it made several notable changes to its models for 2008. Most notably, it introduced the C30 line, designed with the needs of younger car buyers in mind. The C30 was a compact two-door vehicle with front drive. It was one-part hatchback and one-part station wagon and featured Volvo's recently introduced Custom Build personalization options. The C30 came in two trim levels for 2008. Beyond the C30 line, Volvo made small adjustments to its other vehicles. Its S80 line saw the addition of a turbo-charged all-wheel-drive option and the S40 line got a makeover on the interior. The XC90 crossover SUV saw a few changes made for 2008, including the addition of 18-inch wheels on the V8 models.
