Becoming the fourth active Mercedes-Benz badged sport utility vehicle sold in the United States for the 2010 model year, the GLK-Class was positioned at the entry-level of the premium brand's product portfolio. Almost 10 inches shorter in overall length than the M-Class, the Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class's compact physique maintained ample luxury equipment such as dual-zone climate control and welcoming cabin trim. Offered as a rear-wheel drive or 4Matic all-wheel drive, the GLK350 powered by a 3.5-liter gasoline V-6 engine mounted to a seven-speed automatic transmission was the sole available version of the Mercedes-Benz compact sport utility between 2010 and 2012. 2013 featured updated styling to the GLK-Class that added LED daytime running lights and rear taillights.
