In contrast, the CLA 250+ Sedan and the CLA 350 Sedan are new EV models that differentiate themselves by having a different front bumper with a Mercedes star-grille pattern, new LED design headlamps and taillamps which display the Mercedes star logo, and a tech tree that has nothing to envy from other competitors or even models geared toward a more luxurious ride like the E-class.

Now sharing a platform with the smaller A-Class, the new CLA also gets suspension as well as an improved 2.0L engine that makes more power. The AMG CLA45 returns with its own powertrain improvements, but Mercedes-Benz has also added a mid-range CLA35 that neatly splits the difference between the entry-level CLA250 and the 400-horsepower thoroughbred that is the CLA45.
