The 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter gets a new host of advanced safety features. The additions include: a new windshield-wiper cleaning system, rear cross-traffic alert, drive-away assist, active lane-keeping assist, active cruise control with distance assist, parking assist with rearview camera, active braking assist, a new windshield-wiper cleaning system, blind-spot assist, trailer-stability assist and a revised crosswind-assist system.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter gets several new styling updates for 2019. A new front fascia now includes optional LED headlights while LED taillights make their way to the back of the vehicle as well. A new 4-cylinder engine is available this year, while the V6 diesel from last year has also been given a few revisions for a couple of extra horsepower. In addition, a new 7-speed automatic replaces the old 5-speed from 2018.

Finally, interior materials have been upgraded, including firmer, more breathable and more durable seating.

An optional 7-speed automatic transmission is the most significant new feature, while the braking system is also updated with new electronics. The brakes will automatically apply a small amount of pressure in the wet to keep rotors dry and full braking will now automatically be applied if the car detects an emergency braking situation.
