2017 Chevrolet Equinox ratings and reviews

The Chevrolet Equinox crossover has several different trims, but all of the trims have automatic headlamps, a six-speaker audio system, rolling wi-fi, and a parking camera. All of the Equinox models share a 2.4L DOHC four-cylinder engine which has spark ignition direct injection (SIDI), variable valve timing (VVT) and is capable of outputting 182 horsepower at 6700 rpm. The basic engine can also output 172 lb-ft of torque at 4900 rpm using the vehicle’s six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive capability. The premier trim offers the option for a 3.6L V6 SIDI and VVT engine which can output an even more impressive 301 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 272 lb-ft of torque at 4800 rpm. With the high wheel wells and driver safety package that the premier trim brings to the table, the Equinox is ready to take on any challenge that the driver will bring to it.
