2017 Buick Envision ratings and reviews

Meant to be a small and upscale crossover SUV, the 2017 Buick Envision is available in three trim levels: Preferred, Essence, and Premium. With the introduction of the two new trims (Essence and Preferred) comes the introduction of a new engine, a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder model with 197 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard, but Essence models also offer all-wheel-drive. The Premium model has a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with 252 horsepower, six-speed automatic transmission, and a dual-clutch all-wheel-drive system. The base-model Essence trim is lightly equipped but still includes standard features such as a power liftgate, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen and a rearview camera and backup sensors. The Premium trim level offers more safety features, such as front parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist and a forward collision alert.
