New for 2018:Volvo

A redesigned Volvo XC60 arrives for 2018, offered with the full array of turbocharged, supercharged and turbocharged, and plug-in hybrid drivetrains available from the Swedish automaker. All 2018 Volvo models also come with a 4-year subscription to Volvo On Call services, up from the previous 6-month trial period. Flagship S90 sedan and XC90 SUV models add standard equipment, and a new lower-cost version of the V90 Cross Country goes on sale this year.

Detailed changes for each 2018 Volvo car and SUV model are shown below, listed in alphabetical order.

2018 Volvo S60

  • Stand-alone options now include heated front seats, heated steering wheel, power front passenger’s seat

2018 Volvo S90

  • All versions add 4.5 ins. of rear-seat legroom thanks to Volvo making its long-wheelbase platform standard for U.S. customers
  • T5 variant now offered with all-wheel drive (AWD)
  • T8 version debuts, providing a plug-in hybrid drivetrain option
  • Standard equipment for T5 AWD and higher now includes a panoramic sunroof, blind-spot information system with rear cross-traffic alert, auto-dimming mirrors, retractable side mirrors, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear-seat USB ports, and rear-seat controls for panoramic sunroof and front passenger’s seat operation
  • Inscription trim enhanced with standard dashboard and upper door panel tailoring, power-operated rear side and rear window shades
  • Minor option package adjustments
  • New interior color: Maroon Brown
  • New exterior color: Maple Brown

2018 Volvo V60

  • Stand-alone options now include heated front seats, heated steering wheel, power front passenger’s seat

2018 Volvo V90

  • New T5 AWD version of Cross Country arrives, pairing 250-horsepower engine with AWD and a lower starting price
  • New interior color: Maroon Brown
  • New exterior color: Denim Blue

2018 Volvo XC60

  • Volvo’s compact crossover SUV is completely redesigned for 2018
  • Sold in T5, T6, and T8 model series with Momentum, R-Design, and Inscription trim levels
  • All versions come with standard AWD
  • T5 is turbocharged to make 250 horsepower
  • T6 is turbocharged and supercharged to make 316 horsepower
  • T8 is a plug-in hybrid making a combined 400 horsepower
  • Prices start at $5,400 less than the larger 3-row XC90

2018 Volvo XC90

  • Adaptive cruise control with Pilot Assist, blind-spot information system with rear cross-traffic alert, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-dimming mirrors, and retractable side mirrors standard on all versions
  • T6 adds dual round exhaust outlets as standard equipment
  • Minor equipment package changes
  • Bowers & Wilkins audio system no longer includes a CD player
  • New interior color: Maroon Brown
  • New exterior colors: Maple Brown, Denim Blue, Pine Grey
