The first van introduced for the Ram Trucks division was a cargo van based on the Dodge Grand Caravan. In 2014, Ram received a European-inspired van from Fiat called the ProMaster. Gasoline or diesel engine options are provided for the Ram ProMaster designed to satisfy commercial entities. The ProMaster was joined by the smaller capacity but more maneuverable ProMaster City for the 2015 model year. Another Fiat-derived product, the Ram ProMaster City also touts impressive fuel mileage. Both Ram vans are based on Fiat-designed products sold in Europe.
