Ram ProMaster City Wagon Model Years and History

About ProMaster City

Two years after the Ram truck brand received its first influence from Fiat's commercial vehicle portfolio with the ProMaster van, a smaller cargo hauler. Suited for urban use and small-scale businesses, the Ram ProMaster City premiere for the 2015 model year included a cargo van and passenger-oriented wagon version. Configured for a maximum five-passenger capacity, the ProMaster City Wagon came with a 54.7-inch long cargo floor behind the second-row seating. A cargo space length expands to 69.2 inches when the 60/40 split Fold & Tumble rear seats are folded down allowing the Ram ProMaster City Wagon to haul a maximum 101.7 cubic feet worth of items. Available in a base trim as well as SLT trim model, the ProMaster City Wagon's propulsion comes exclusively from a 2.4-liter TigerShark four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Adding confidence as a passenger van, the Ram ProMaster City Wagon included seven airbags and air conditioning. SLT models incorporated an Uconnect 5.0 system operating through a touch-screen display. Only minor changes were made to the ProMaster City Wagon between the 2016 and 2017 model year.
