About iA

Scion's first-ever four-door sedan, the iA was one of two new vehicles introduced for the 2016 model year joined by the iM hatchback. Based on the same platform as the Mazda2, Scion iA subcompact sedan proudly touts a sporty image as well as the brand's emphasis on value. Standard content found on all Scion iA models included 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome tip exhaust, remote keyless entry with a push-button start and a six-speaker Pioneer audio system with a seven-inch touch screen. A 106-horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine propels the front-wheel drive iA sedan and can be paired with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy of the Scion iA topped out of 33 miles per gallon city and 42 miles per gallon highway. With the shutdown of the Scion brand midway through the 2016 calendar year, the iA will be integrated with the Toyota brand for 2017.
